Purchasing a dog through The Bobtail Bernard Co. entitles you to monthly private training sessions for the life of your dog.
Our primary focus is breeding healthy, long-lived dogs with exceptional temperaments and who are easily trainable.
We are selective with breeding rights and maintain a high standard for our lines. Most dogs leave with a contract that doesn't allow them to be bred.

This litter has exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. From the beginning, these puppies demonstrated the calm, people-oriented temperaments that we strive to produce in the Bobtail Bernard breed.
Raised in our home and exposed to daily life from birth, the puppies experienced extensive socialization, handling exercises, environmental enrichment, novel surfaces, sounds, grooming, car rides, crates, toys, and interactions with both people and other dogs. As they matured, their individual personalities began to shine.
One of the most notable traits shared throughout the litter is their confidence and adaptability. They are social puppies who enjoy interacting with people, eagerly engage with new experiences, and recover quickly from everyday challenges. Several have shown natural retrieving instincts, carrying toys and objects around the yard and seeking interaction with their handlers.
The litter has also demonstrated strong problem-solving ability and trainability. Basic behaviors such as sit, down, stand, and spin have been introduced, with some puppies learning multiple new skills in a single session. Their willingness to engage, experiment, and persist through challenges has been impressive to watch.
Among the litter, we have observed a variety of personalities ranging from outgoing and attention-seeking to thoughtful and observant. Whether wrestling with littermates, exploring new environments, or seeking affection from visitors, each puppy has developed into a well-rounded companion with a unique temperament.
As a whole, this litter reflects the goals of the Bobtail Bernard breeding program: stable temperaments, strong human bonds, intelligence, adaptability, and the potential to excel as family companions, therapy dogs, and service dog prospects.
